There's a first time for everything

Being a resident wife has really pushed me to new heights - remember when I did this?

Today I grilled.
(And made Noah take a picture of me doing it.)

So here I am, on Father's Day, posting a picture of myself and touting my own accomplishments.
Really though, Paul would NOT want a picture of himself and some sappy love note on the blog
(or at all really)
and it's Father's Day, so he should get what he wants, right?

Which is exactly what he got.
You want steak on our "new" (got it for free from a family that's moving away) grill?
You want to watch the US Open instead of grilling it?
You got it.
(Ok, so maybe I was nervous and asked for lots of detailed instructions, but he still got it.)

Happy Father's Day hon.
And way to go me.
And hurray for a grill!

Happy Father's Day to our dads too.
We sure love them.

Go, you!!!!!
Your blog always makes me laugh. Thanks for that.
Residency is good for us, huh? Learning new things, stretching our limits, mastering the barbie...
oh yeah, and HFD, Paul.

P.S. For Dave's father's day present, I let him work a 35-hour shift without any complaining from me. How nice am I??

I'm so proud of you!! I still won't go near the grill. I get everything ready and then wait until Mark gets home from work so he can cook it. Lame, I know.

Wow, I am impressed Summer! We grilled on Fathers day too...but when I say we, I mean Randy. He grilled the steak and I made the rest of the dinner inside...cuz lets face it, I don't have a clue how to grill. And I wasn't about to mess up Randy's fathers day dinner. But maybe when you come out here next month you are gonna have to teach me your grilling skills...Randy would be so happy :)

Good job summer - you have surpassed me. I still leave all the grilling to your Dad. Sounds like Paul had a great Father's Day.
