It took some rigging
But this is up
so that this doesn't happen again.
And so that we don't have to go to the ER again.
At least until the next time my kids do their "things"
Noah - splitting his head open
Alex - passing out
Yep.
Let's hope Avery's thing is not falling down stairs.

Oh Summer! What a sad little bruise. I'm glad the gate is up!
(Thanks for having Jeff over!)
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.
How sad.
Oh, Avery and Sum-Sum!! So very sad. Is that really what I have just around the corner??
Oh little baby Aves.....
Oh my gosh!!! OUCH!! Poor little Avery. . . better beware - family services might show up at your door:)
I'm so glad that Avery is ok. And the gate looks great!
Looks like you will be getting good at the hurdles with that gate in place between the basement/playroom and the rest of the house. Good luck! Hope Avery is looking like her sweet little perfect self soon.
poor baby! It looks so much better now.
Poor Avery! She still looks so cute. miss you guys
Poor baby! Stairs freak me out.
Oh, poor girl! (you and her) Her sweet little face is still so adorable, but so sad! I hope that's the end of the stair falling for all of you, too!
these pictures still break my heart...and not just for Avery, but for you too!
So scary...but so glad it wasn't worse.
Maybe you guys should just come back to chicago and live with us...we don't have stairs, ya know ;)
Oh Summer, man oh man that's a good one. Dontcha just love the oweies that leave visible marks... I remember one of our many trips to the e.r. nothing makes you feel like parent of the year then taking your kids to the e.r. Like your kids, this happened to us multiple times. NICE! At least it's just a bruise & will heal & go away. I feel ya though, many times over. She's such a cutie with a big o'smile to go with it :)
