Or is it just me?
Avery had her first stitches today after slamming into the coffee table.
It was traumatic - for me and for her.
And after a visit to the ER we barely had enough time to make it to church for the Primary Program.
Like I threw on a skirt, took a minute (much to the annoyance of my husband) to put on minimal make-up, and went to church with Avery's blood on my shirt and the I-rolled-out-of-bed-and haven't-touched-my-hair yet look.
Awesome morning.
Poor Baby.

oh my gosh, this picture is the saddest thing ever! even sadder than her black and blue face a couple posts back. and even sadder than the fact that you had to go to church with no make up on, messy hair and a bloody shirt. poor little accident-prone Avery... :(
I don't know who to feel more sorry for - Avery or Summer. I think that it is as much or more traumatic for the Mom than for the kid. Hang in there both of you!
Aw poor thing. Hope today is better :)
That would have been perfect for Halloween. If only...
When my five-year-old had to be sent by ambulance to Portland for a fractured elbow he slept all the way on morphine while I was vomiting from car/morning sickness in the front--what we go through!
Good to hear from you! Keep in touch--I'll take good care of Brooke!
Oh my goodness - could not have handled that! Poor thing!
