Read This

Maybe it's the world of blogging...when you feel a connection to someone you've never met
Maybe it's maternal instinct...the way your heart goes out to a mother and her children
I know that tragedies happen to people around the world everyday
I know I can't save the world
But I am praying for Stephanie Nielson and her family
To hear their story click the button below...and add your prayers to mine

I have read this blog religiously for quite some time now. A friend of mine is related and another is good friends with Nie. I too feel a connection in some sort of way and have been touched by the recent tragedy.
How truly precious life is, can you imagine? ---

I read her story a few days ago. One of my good friends grew up with her and are still good friends and it is amazing to me how you can read someone's story that you've never met and have all the love in the world for them, and be full of tears, sadness and hope just from reading a blog about them. I think that's an amazing thing about blogging. My heart aches for them, and makes me realize even more how precious my little family is to me. Things can change way, way too fast.

I've been reading Nie's blog since last year. Still, today as I was in the shower, I was thinking to myself, today I'm going to look at her blog and everything will be normal, the way it used to be, the way it should. Unfortunately, no such luck. She and her family have consumed my thoughts. My heart aches for them and I pray that everything will work out the way the Lord intends. I wish so badly that good people didn't have to go through such hard things.
