that "special" time

It's the Dead of Winter in Rochester, Minnesota
It's cold.
(the understatement of the year)

SO glad we got the Wii for Christmas.
And recently subscribed to Netflix.
And we're still loving KidPix.
(best kids computer game ever)

Too much screen time, yes.
But what are you gonna do?
It's the Dead of Winter in Rochester, Minnesota.

Oh yeah, we do love reading and looking at books.
(I would especially love it if I were finding time to read my books)

And oh yeah, we love to snuggle.
Good thing we have a chubby little baby and the snuggliest almost four-year old you ever saw.

Because it's the Dead of Winter in Rochester, Minnesota.
What else are you gonna do?

Well, you might wonder what to do with all that long hair of yours...

It is a well documented fact that I am no good with hair.
(just take a quick look at all the pictures of me/my daughter)

I need help. Like lessons.
Who wants to come over?
It'll be just like a 5th grade sleepover, I promise
(without the sleepover)

Yes.
It's the Dead of Winter in Rochester, Minnesota

I love that picture of Alex and Avery cuddling! So cute! :) At least you guys are getting out of freezing cold Rochester in just a couple more weeks!

I am really hoping we get a warm spell while you are out here - it would be great "winter blues therapy" for you. Of course - whatever we have will be warmer than what you've got. Can't wait to see all of you!

Let us in on the lessons and new dos that you come up with, I am about ready to chop my hair, since I am no good at styling it either :)

Summer-your hair is gorgeous. You don't need to do a thing with it. Maybe that's not what you want to hear but it's true!
Love that pic of Alex and Avery! So sweet!

Summer, your hair is gorgeous! I think it looks absolutely beautiful in that picture. I can not believe how long it is!! I love it. I absolutely relate to not knowing a thing about having to do hair. Mine is either back in a ponytail or just straight. As in I brushed it. I have no clue! My poor girls...
