You'll laugh

Avery's laugh is the best sound in the world. And she laughs a lot. She's super ticklish and thinks all the weird and crazy things her siblings do are hilarious. You can't hear Avery laugh and not laugh yourself - she must have gotten that from her dad.

I mean, have you ever heard Paul's laugh? When he's really laughing hard? Hysterical.
(voted "Most Contagious Laugh" in high school...don't ask me what award I got, I'll never tell)

Yesterday, Paul told Noah he could hear his heart beating. Which led to the kids pressing their ears to our chests to hear ours. Alex listened for mine for a few seconds then straightened up and said, "I can't hear your heart beating mom - I can just smell the milk in your boobs." Not sure how to respond, trying not to laugh, I looked to Paul for help. All I got was, "Well, maybe she can."

How could you not laugh?

Pauls laugh is the best. What does boob milk smell like?

Hahaha! I am still chuckling to myself. I think it is even funnier reading that when I can imagine perfectly how Paul would have responded. You guys are too funny! And yes, I would have to admit that it is impossible to not laugh when Paul is laughing.

I love Alex :)

I wish we were there to hear all the laughing, it sounds like a lot of fun. I had fun catching up on your blog. The kids sound great and I can totally empathize with your stress of being a mom of older kids...it's scary. I just got back from doing girls camp and came home thinking "how am I going to make sure my kids are sweet and helpful and hard working like so and so instead of...." so much pressure... not to mention the other aspects of things like the fact that Hayden still calls it his "potty spot..." He knows the anatomical names but has decided not to use them...I like his innocence and don't want to change it but how long can that last?!

Absolutley laugh out loud hilarious! You guys are so funny :) I can't wait to hear Paul laugh...maybe you should record Paul laughing so we can all hear it. He would LOVE that, right?

I'm trying to think of Paul's laugh. I can see his face but I just can't hear it. We're going to have to incite his laugh somehow.

Mmmmm, boob milk. Isn't that a Scentcy flavor? Always brings me back....

Summer, I miss you!! Just caught up on your blog. I would LOVE it if you moved to California! there really are so many great things about it. The boys get to go "crabbing" at Half Moon Bay for the Father Son Campout this weekend. I guess things like that are a good trade-off for some of the annoying things about California. Your family is so beautiful, the kids are so cute. Keep up the good work. I know its a busy load.
