Withdrawals

If you guessed this post was going to be about the Twilight series you guessed right. I can't move on!!! I finished the third book last friday and I have been in a state of semi-depression ever since. I've read every inch of the authors website (extras, outtakes, etc.) and decided on Monday that it was time for me to start a new book...time for me to move on. I read the first chapter of my book and slammed it down in frustration. I'm just not ready! Since then I've made a playlist (also found on her website) which I listen to all the time just to ease the withdrawal symptoms. What am I going to do with myself?

Well, you know its really bad when you are first of all, reading the books for the second time, and second of all, still crying in shock and horror when things happen that you don't want! As IF the book changed from when I read it last week! Its almost harder the second time, wanting thing to be different, and then they aren't. We need therapy, some sort of PTSD help... but not post traumatic stress disorder... post twilight stress disorder. Or a hotline you can call when you are struggling to let go of these fictional characters. I'll look into it...

Okay so her comment made me nervous about the next few books! I really hope Bella and Edward stay together in all of these books! I might have PTSD, too! I'm not even on to book 2 yet, because James is making me live by a stupid budget and I don't know enough people yet who have read them, so I can't borrow them. I may have to do some serious work this weekend in getting those books!:)

I totally agree with Michele, PTSD sounds right on to me :) I don't know what it is about the way these books are written, but you seriously become part of their world and it's so hard to come out of it! I still haven't recovered and I finished the books almost 2 months ago. My friend that got me into them said it takes about 4 months to de-Forks yourself.

So, I'm in charge of our book club out here and I've decided that this month with it being Halloween and also because I'm obsessed that we'll be discussing all 3 Twilight books this month. I'm calling it Twilight Book Club Extravaganza and you should totally fly out for it! ;) This also means that I will be reading the books for a second time and I'm trying to wait as long as possible so that I can enjoy them even more! And your dad's comment made me laugh so hard. And I think that my comment is longer than your post.....
